At HoF we can operate in several different ways dependant upon your requirements

From Product Concept to Completion

Through careful analysis of your product market place we will identify the drivers and trends and offer suggestions on "the next big thing". Utilizing our development facilities we will create product concepts and samples for your evaluation. These samples may include existing ingredients or new bespoke ingredients developed by our in house flavourist for your application.

Through a process of modifications and reiterations we will refine the product until you are happy with it’s performance. HoF can then assist you with production set up, and hand hold through product launch. We will then remain as your NPD partner to help with product enhancements and developments throughout the product life cycle.

Product Optimisation

Equal or better taste at lower cost
HoF's experienced Technicians and development personnel will evaluate all aspects of your product and suggest areas in which cost can be removed whilst maintaining or enhancing the product taste. HoF will select or create ingredients and flavourings that will deliver this reduced cost, this may involve encapsulating ingredients to prevent their taste being lost in production, may involve compounding ingredients, may involve reducing expensive inclusions and adding top-note flavourings to deliver enhanced taste impact. At HoF we are confident that we can engineer a reduced cost solution for your product, send us a project brief and we will investigate ways of reducing your costs straight away.

Ingredient sampling

You have an idea, you want a sample of a flavouring or an ingredient to try out your idea, simply fill out the request sample form and we will select suitable ingredients for you from our database of over 18,000 ingredients and post them to you. Requests for samples held in stock received before 5.00pm will be posted the same day.

Ingredient Matching

Sometimes your current supplier discontinues or increases the price of the ingredients that you currently purchase. Send us a sample or application details and we will select or create a match for your ingredient, be it a commodity item, a colour, a flavouring or a complex ingredient.
